Welcome to the screenshot folder on my phone - a round-up of wholesome, funny, impressive, creative, positive, helpful, fun, brilliant things I’ve come across on the internet this week. Think of it as a source of inspiration, curiosity, good vibes or even just a little chuckle to yourself. Let’s go!
David Shrigley’s illustrations on Instagram
This artist features so frequently on my stories, I may as well be an official spokesperson for him. Here are a few of my recent favourites:
Anna Newton’s minimal style inspo
I have watched Anna on YouTube for many years but only just discovered her on Instagram and Substack and honestly, WHERE HAVE I BEEN. I’m wearing far more of my wardrobe, buying less and feeling so much more secure and confident in my personal style because of this woman.
One Day BTS
If, like me, you were absolutely broken by the Netflix adaptation of One Day, your social media feeds will have most likely been flooded with memes, BTS photos and clips of the series. Here are a few of my favourites:
Sisterly advice
I sent this very screenshot to my own little sister, I was so moved by its contents. The original was written by Clarice Lispector to her sister, Tania, in 1948. The Letters of Note Instagram page is by far one of my enduring favourites - I highly recommend a follow.
And finally, a fun lil meme for the social media professionals amongst you
I don’t think I’ve ever batch created content and honestly I’m not about to start. Where’s the fun in that?! IYKYK.
Thanks for reading! I hope this provided some lighthearted lols and inspiration for your Thursday eve. xo
